Mountain View Arkansas Spots

Mountain View Arkansas Spots is a new production company high-lighting everything available in Mountain View Arkansas. The music, Folk Center, cave, bike trail, hiking trails, fishing, shopping, amphitheater,  etc., etc. Short YouTube clips will be developed and posted on facebook and a YouTube channel “Mountain View Arkansas Spots” specifically  set aside for this. Below is the first video showing the White River Theater and some very good performing musicians from our area.

Just in case you didn’t notice. That is Debbie (Ozark Country Inn owner) doing the video introduction. She will be doing all the interviewing and commentaries.

Memorial Day Celebration 2016

Celebrate Honor Remember

   Celebrate Honor Remember

Memorial Day celebration on the square in Mountain View, Arkansas will be held on Saturday 28th, 2016. The festivities will begin with our Honor Guard paying tribute to all fallen, retired or still active service members followed by a picnic on the square. Bring your own picnic basket or buy a hot dog or hamburger from one of the food vendors set up along the square. Then sit back and enjoy some good old fashion music. Come and enjoy a family time with some friends and don’t forget to express your gratitude to a service man and his family for their sacrifice.

Spring Is in the Air

Spring has arrived in Mountain View, Arkansas once again and the weather is simply gorgeous. This is my favorite time of the year as fishing, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities fit the weather perfectly. The musicians are back on the square and the music theaters are all open along with the Ozark Folk Center, Blanchard Caverns, and Loco Ropes. But my favorite, the Music Box with its fabulous ice cream treats and Chief’s Kettle Corn are in full swing so I can sit back and enjoy the music with some treats. If you need any help planning activities for your stay feel free to give us a call. If we don”t know the answer we’ll make one up. No I’m only kidding, we will find the answer for you.
